Behemoth Bread Co. is an artisanal cottage micro-bakery based in Bozeman, Montana, specializing in 100% organic sourdough. Founded on the philosophy of “craft, community, and connection,” the bakery highlights Montana-grown, stone-ground ancient and heritage grains to support a resilient local food economy.

Behemoth Bread Co. distinguishes itself by using unique wheat varieties that are often absent from industrial food systems.
Heritage Grains: Loaves frequently feature Montana-grown grains such as Red Fife, Kamut, Spelt, Emmer, and Warhorse.
Process: Every loaf is naturally leavened (sourdough) and made with organic, stone-ground whole grains.

Ordering and Pick-Up (2025 Updates)
As a small-scale “cottage” operation, Behemoth Bread Co. does not have a traditional storefront and operates through a weekly pre-order system.
Ordering Schedule: Ordering typically opens on Tuesday mornings and closes on Thursdays at 1:00 PM.
Pick-Up Day: Fresh bread is distributed on Thursdays.

North Bozeman: 2107 Highland Ct.
South Bozeman: 620 E Cottonwood (located at Mischa’s wine shop).
Farmers Markets: During summer months, they are a regular vendor at the Bozeman Tuesday Night Market at Lindley Park (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
